Customer questions & answers
Question:Would it be ok to place it on hard soil?
Answer:yes, but it must very flat and very level. the base is not as rigid as i hoped it would be and if the ground is not level you may have issues with it fitting together properly. The doors wont close evenly and the lid wont close properly
i would highly recomed putting it on a firm level sub base.
Question:Would an adult bike fit inside
Answer:We have 2 adult bikes nested into each other. With the handle bars turned. Which fits nicely
Question:Can anyone confirm if they have managed to fit 3 adult bikes in this item?
Answer:Yes. Top to tail and a fiddling required sometimes. But yes 3 adults in it
Question:If i position this unit backing onto a house side (wall) then will I have a problem opening the top as it is curved?
Answer:As long as you leave it 50 to 60mm off the wall will be O.K.
Question:It says we can put shelves in it. Where do I buy those from?
Answer:I made them out of 22mm plywood

Kat******akBought this recently, as a replacement for my wooden shed, and am pleased I did. It has ample room for my bike, along with my lawnmower and other garden tools. It took a few hours to build, but is sturdy once built. Highly recommend!

Alex********ownThe Ultra Outdoor Storage Shed perfectly complements my 2 year old Keter 8 x 6 shed. It provides that extra bit of storage which MOST of us end up needing - and does it perfectly. It took my wife and myself approximately 2 hours to assemble it. A couple of minor errors on our part had to be sorted, but all in all, a very straightforward job. Try and make sure that 2 people are assembling this shed, it will be SO much easier. TIPS: When you are ready to begin unpacking and start assembling, position the UNOPENED box very close to where the shed will be situated. Now remove the lid on the large cardboard box, flatten it out, and put it to one side as a temporary floor area for your tools and then lay out and check all the parts of the shed on this cardboard floor you've created. Flatten the BASE of the large cardboard box and use it as an assembly platform for the shed. When combing the two halves of the floor and the lid, be ready to use a little "persuasion" when closing up the gaps. For the floor, we used a nylon mallet - gently. For the lid, when the two halves were ALMOST joining up, we stood the lid up on one end, held it about 25 cm off the ground, and pulled it down onto the cardboard floor with a firm bump a couple of times until the two halves met. Nothing negative to report, delighted with the solidity of the shed. Looks like it'll serve its purpose for many maintenance-free years. Delighted!

Ant*******wanThis shed arrived on time in a large box, which the delivery crew carried around to the back garden ready for me to assemble. Asembly took me around 4 hours but don't make the mistake that I did by not having an electric screwdriver - there's around 100 screws to tighten and I did them all with a normal screwdriver and ended up with a very sore hand full of blisters, not to mention the extra time is takes when tightening the screws manually. Assembly took me 4 hours but this would have been around 2-3 hours with an electric screwdriver. The ony other piece of advice I'd give is to make sure you purchase a lock to secure the roof. My previous Keter shed broke because the wind caused the roof to lift and the doors blew open and broke. This shed has a plastic fastener to prevent the roof from opening but it isn't sufficient on a very windy day and so I lock the roof in place with a long handled padlock (see picture). Overall, I'm very pleased with the shed and would recommend it.

Ma****.It's uncomplicated to put together, but you'll definitely need a battery-operated drill to get the screws in. It IS watertight even after a very heavy downpour of rain, although you may get a little dribble near where the doors meet. It's quite light, so you can drag it around a flat surface easily... but it probably will blow over in very strong winds! It's a good idea to secure this storage unit to the ground if you can. Once it's full of stuff, that problem mostly goes away. The two lever arms work well and are a safety Godsend so it can't slam shut and it will stay open while you're rummaging about. It's NOT secure. Any determined person will just kick in the back panel to nab your stuff. Locks are a deterrent only and shouldn't be used with confidence as a security feature. I would recommend this item.
