Question:Does the arm exerciser move independently from the leg exerciser? or does it have to move as a unit? (I ask because also ordering it for a stroke guy)
Answer:The arm and leg exercisers are independent of each other.
Question:is it confirmed that the arm pedals have no tension in reverse, and that the computer readouts don't work for the arm pedals?
Answer:The "arm pedals" or upper body mechanism's tension is applied by a friction mechanism and works in both directions. The applied tension is the same when used either forwards or backwards. The computer readout does not work with the upper body mechanism. The readouts are limited exclusively to the lower pedal mechanism.

Question:Possible to measure heart rate by using only left hand sensor? Trouble holding sensor on right side. Would it work if I disconnect one of sensor wire?
