Answer:No. Smooth grain surface.

Answer:i have 4 chairs go around the table, it can easily fit 6
Question:Does the top scratch easily with daily wear?
Answer:No, I think it’s held up pretty well. I do have placemats too to help prevent those kind of scratches. I do like the table.

This table is everything I wanted! The color is beautiful but does get smudgy easily so you have to clean it regularly. It was easy to put together but if you’re weak I can see it being troublesome and might need help. There are little adjustable screws on the bottom which help with leveling it out. I’ve had it for a while now and haven’t found any issues, I love it!

We love this table. It's got an industrial look but honestly you could put any style chair with it. We have mid-century modern style chairs and they look great with it. Just the right size table for our breakfast nook. Easy to put together and the tabletop is very attractive. It did come with one small blemish on the edge, but I'm still giving it 5 stars because I think the blemish is in the piece of wood itself, not in the manufacturing of the table. We're really, really happy with it!
