I was a little skeptical of buying a bed at website but somehow talked myself into it. So I ordered the bed and got it within a few days. The packaging was really neat and the instructions were clear. It took me about 2 hours to assemble the whole thing (by myself). It comes with a couple of Allen keys, but if you have appropriate screw driver you should use that. The end result was quite pretty but my fingers were pretty bruised. But the overall feeling was of satisfaction and triumph. 😊 All contents (except for the screws and some metal support) were made of wood which gives the bed a nice rustic look. I have attached different stages of my assembling the bed. I sleep alone in my bed and I am 145 lbs. It seems pretty sturdy to me. I am satisfied with it and would recommend it.

I love this bed frame. It’s exactly what we needed, with a shorter headboard and the color is gorgeous. It’s high enough that we were able to put some rolling drawers underneath for extra storage, which is a big bonus for us. Other than that, it’s super sturdy and easy to assemble; they even packed a helpful tool for the bolts. We bought it at the lower price and are happy with the purchase.

I was happily surprised by how well this thing was packaged. There was a ton of care in the placement of cardboard inserts, padding, and styrofoam. The styrofoam inserts were even enclosed in plastic so I didn’t have to deal with all the little styrofoam crumbles post unpacking. Once unpacked, the parts were all clearly labeled. They even provided some spare parts (screws and washers). An additional nice touch was the hex-ratchet that they provided in addition to the standard Allen wrench. This guy came in handy for sure and made the assembly go a lot smoother. On the assembly side of things, there was only one part that took a bit of thinking and that was getting the headboard slats facing in the correct direction. Aside from that, everything else was very simple and worked great. All screws lined up perfectly with pre-drilled and threaded holes. Once assembled, the slats had a nice touch as well with a couple of dowel rods and Velcro that were placed to hold the slats in place for the mattress. Really nice features all the way around. We were both pleasantly surprised to see that the wood was lighter than pictured and we were very happy with it. Saved money and still loved the look. Oh..and they even sent a candle wishing us a good night’s sleep. I can get used to this kind of attention to detail! Highly recommend this guy.

This bed was very easy to put together. I can't believe I did it myself. You have to be patient,read the instructions and take your time. Each board had a numbered sticker that made it super easy,although 2 were off in that the boards were switched,and one sticker was upside down so I had the board the wrong way. With common sense,and realizing the direction won't work its an easy fix. I only needed the tiny enclosed tool for the whole bed,and it's VERY sturdy..I can't wait for my mattress to arrive. If you are questioning this purchase,I'd say " go for it!". :)
