Snap and Grow greenhouses are designed for easy assembly using an exclusive SmartLock connection system that eliminates the need for most tools and hardware. Frame pieces lock together without the need for screws and the clear polycarbonate panels slide into the frame and snap into place. The crystal-clear polycarbonate panels provide over 90% light transmission, will not yellow over time, are virtually unbreakable, and block 100% of harmful UV rays. The 6’ wide series features an extra-tall double-hung Dutch door for easy entry and provides flow-through ventilation when the adjustable roof vent is opened. Question:I have a narrow size yard (7ft wide) with fence surrounding, will I have enough room to assemble it?
Answer:The actual measurements if the greenhouse is roughly 6.2' W x 8.3' D. If you are able to assemble it in a larger space such as a garage, driveway, etc. you can build it there. You would need to have the foundation and base frame anchored, then enlist a couple of people to move the assembled greenhouse to the foundation. The weight of the assembled greenhouse is 119 lbs.Question:What is the model number of this 8 x 8 x 9 Palram greenhouse kit?
Answer:Peak of 102″ on the 8′ wide modelsQuestion:Will it hold up in a hailstorm?
Answer:We had a hailstorm with golf ball sized hail. All the panels but one roof panel survived.Question:Does this anchor in the ground somehow? We live by the shore and get winds over 40mph so you can see my concern? Has anyone anchored with footings?
Answer:I would suggest anchoring to buried treated 4x4's. Be sure to rebar/ stake these into the ground, level and flush. You must anchor it down. Thank you. BetterSheds.Question:Dimensions of the door opening for the 8x8x9 greenhouse?

Turned out great. Bigger then I thought. It is a bit of a challenge to put together, and you really have to follow the directions, they were always right and the parts always fit. Took a couple of days and did 99% of it by myself. Came well boxed in two cardboard boxes tied together, about 70 lbs. total.

The transparent plastic pieces that comprise the sides and doors are substantial and are locked in place so I believe that our occasional 50+ MPH winds will have little effect. Locked in place means fit in groves on all sides and those grove areas covered by additional hardware. We have had a recent blow near 40 MPH with no problems.

I loved my green house and hate that i had to leave it behind when we moved a couple of years ago. I fully intend to get another one as soon as I can. 1. It is a light weight wind catcher so get the anchor kit. It works and is well worth it. 2. Plan ahead and prep the foundation. I dug out an area and leveled it with packed sand. Then surrounded it with a 4x4 frame. This gave me a solid foundation to screw the base into. 3. My 15 year old grandson and I assembled it in a day... easy peeasy 4. My only complaint was having a few missing pieces but Palram sent them to me within a week. 5. Super warm! I recommend getting the vent kit and the automatic vent and window opener. In fact it was so warm i added a shade cloth to the ceiling. 6. The accessories are a must have. The shelves are super sturdy perfectly sized.

I love my finished greenhouse. I've started seeds and cuttings, and put my lemon tree inside and it's blooming up a fragrant cloud. It was worth it, just wish we had been able to do it in warmer weather! Do have a fan of some sort to put in your greenhouse. Even a small one will keep the air moving and help prevent fungus and other problems.
