Question: Can the mat be cleaned in a washing machine?
Answer: Absolutely! I wash mine all of the time... except my dog ripped it up(because he can’t have any nice things)

Question: Is this big enough to go from puppy to full grown Golden Retriever?
Answer: It says 40-90 lb, so a female would likely be OK. We have a 55lb water dog who loves this! It's a great looking crate too!

Question: Can you put the single door at either end?
Answer: I don’t see why not, if you look at the picture the two latch pieces is on the piece as well as the hinges. They are all one end

Question: What is the distance between bars?
Answer: I don't know the answer but it's not very wide. I don't think most dogs could get through the bars unless a very teeny dog. We have an 8 lb. dog in it.
