Product Description
The Palram Nature Hybrid series greenhouse brings hobby gardeners the best of both worlds; the precise balance of two advanced polycarbonates and a durable 6' foot wide frame designed perfectly for your growing needs in smaller spaces.
A healthy head-start on your garden begins with light management through Palram' s market leading twin-wall polycarbonate. Twin-wall polycarbonate is the leading choice for quality hobby greenhouse coverings because of its durability, light diffusing properties and heat retaining ability. The twin-wall roof on the Hybrid blocks 99.9% of harmful solar UV radiation and creates a system of diffused light, which helps maximizes plant growth and eliminates the risk of plant burn and shade areas. Crystal clear polycarbonate side panels are equally as durable and provide over a 90% transmission of light.
Palram' s version of these virtually unbreakable polymers are made only with virgin materials that won't become brittle or discolor over time. Featuring a rust-resistant aluminum frame and heavy-duty galvanized steel base, the Hybrid series greenhouse is designed to stand for years to come. Other features include integrated rain gutters to channel water for sustainable irrigation, a magnetic door catch and a single roof vent to help moderate air flow and temperature to maximize growing conditions.
Customer questions & answers
Question:How wide is the door opening ?
Answer:The door opening is approximately 22.2".Question:when i buy the greenhouse, i am planning to place it on an existing concrete slab. how can i anchor it to protect from wind damage?
Answer:I have the 6x10x7 high one, and set it on existing concrete also. I bolted a 4x4 wooden frame to the concrete first, then proceeded with the instructions from there. Screwing the greenhouse base to the wooden frame. We have had 60mph winds since erecting and no problems.Question:Is getting two doors an option?
Answer:It is not, utilizing two doors would be a safety risk. When you introduce a second door, you are losing full functionality of the back wall, which lowers the overall stability of the greenhouse.Question:have palram hybrid 6x8x7 greenhouse green-going to heat it this winter. do we need to remove the automatic vent to keep heat in?
Answer:yes, remove the opener. if the greenhouse gets to hot, put it back on.Question:Can this be used for a butterfly house? Has anyone tried?
Answer:It is manual heat control. I would not recommend it if you do not having a cooling and moisture system to apply. -

It took about 5 hours for my husband and me to assemble the greenhouse. It wasn’t difficult but the instructions require ample common sense to follow. I would recommend you have a helper, especially if you assemble your new green house on a windy day. Other reviewers have said it seems very flimsy until it’s completely assembled and anchored. We found this to be true as well. Ours has been up for about 2 months now. We live in Oklahoma and the storms and hard winds (sometimes up to 50mph) have hammered us much of that time. I am truly shocked at how well this little greenhouse has held up without any damage. Stayed dry inside too.

CM ******onWe are very pleased overall with the greenhouse. It's just the right size for my gardening needs and maintains humidity and warmth...Easily managed by opening and closing the window and the door. We had the base installed on a level surface with 6x8 pressure treated plywood leveled and secured to the ground with rebar stakes. Then the base was painstakingly measured to ensure that the measurements were precise...a very important step for the rest of the assembly...otherwise nothing will come together correctly.. Instructions could have been better by using photographs rather than sketches...

Du****nAssembled easily. Can be assembled in a day with one person but it helps to have two to hold up some panels during assembly. Feels sturdy. Held up to hail.

E***yJust love this greenhouse! Lay all the parts out first and get a big bowl for all the nuts and bolts. It will make assembly much easier! The instructions are clear but you need to pay attention to small details in the photos, like having a certain piece one way or the other. I built a 2x4 frame for it to sit on and screwed it down to that. Also attached it to the side bed I have on the outside of the shed. Will be curious to see how it stands up in one of our famous westcoast storms. Happy gardening!
