QUALITY MATERIALS: Bed made from quality laminated particle board compliant with TSCA Title VI. Sofa has hardwood frame, seat cushions filled with non-glue cotton covered with D30 foam, and suspension made with 9-gauge sinuous coils.

SPACE SAVER: The sofa and Murphy bed combination is the perfect space-saving solution. The sofa is pre-assembled, except for the legs (you can choose plastic or chrome legs). Assign a clearance of 30” to 36” around the open bed.

COMFORTABLE: Sleep on your Queen Murphy bed every day! EuroSlat mattress support system increases sleeper’s comfort. Accommodates most standard Queen mattresses (8-12” thick, 60-90 lb, 60” x 80”). Seat cushions are 7.9” thick.

GOOD STORAGE: Each storage unit has 2 fixed and 4 adjustable shelves and 1 grommet. The sofa does not have a backrest and must be placed against the Murphy bed or a wall. Thanks to the dual piston system, the bed folds up and down safely.

The Murphy Bed is the perfect solution to furnish condos, lofts, studios, guest rooms and home offices. You can convert your office, training room, guest room, or even your living room into a guest room thanks to this space-saver.

When the bed is folded up, it’s a large, beautiful cabinet with shaker-inspired trim and metal handles. To fold out the bed, you simply pull on the handle, and flip the support leg down onto the floor. No heavy lifting or pulling is required thanks to the dual-piston system. The pistons are calibrated in order for the weight of the mattress to keep the bed open. For added convenience, you can even leave the bedding on the bed (but not the pillows). Its frame must be attached firmly to the wall since our murphy bed folds up vertically. Mattress not included.

Question: Is it possible to have one (or both) side cabinets with wardrobe or "closets" with doors instead of the shelves?
Answer: Hi, We have a 3 Drawer Set for Pur 25W Storage Unit but no doors.

Question: Can this be used with only one of the side shelve unit
Answer: The shelving units are separate, so you can you 1,2 or none without effecting the bed structure.

Question: What is the weight limit of the murphy bed? Odd question, but my brother and his wife visit often and they are on the heavy side.
Answer: It can hold 1000 pounds distributed weight

Question: Is the couch black? In the review pictures it looked more gray.
Answer: Gray; charcoal

Question: How far does the couch come out into the room?
Answer: About 52” from the wall to the edge of the couch. Keeping in mind you will need to remove any wall trim in order for the Murphy bed to be flush against the wall and properly mounted.

Question: What are the dimensions of the bed section and then each shelving section?
Answer: We found the dimensions in the description. All I can say for sure is that the height is just under 8 ft. We have hardwood floors and an 8' ceiling and there's about 9-6 inches of space between the ceiling and the top of the unit.
