Product Description
CALDER HIGH SLEEPER CABIN BED SONOMA OAK Made to British standard EN747 the British and European standard for high sleepers.
- Bed measures approximately: 203cm long x 94cm wide (upto 113cm where the ladder fits) x 173cm high
- PLEASE NOTE THAT THE LADDER SIDES WILL BE OAK COLOURED THE SAME AS THE BED, NOT SILVER.
- A bigger cabin bed than our midi beds, this full height cabin bunk bed is suitable for teenagers and adults.
- THIS BED HAS THE LADDER ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE AND IS NOT REVERSIBLE.
- This exciting stylish children's high sleeper bed, has a bed base with 'breathing' holes, takes a full 3 ft mattress (not supplied) and comes flat-packed for easy home assembly!
- The cabin bed, is made to British and European Standards by ourselves in the UK and supplied to major European retailers.
- For safety reasons the maximum thickness of mattress for this bed is 15cm. The high sleeper bed has a double door wardrobe with hanging rail, a desk and three drawers. Behind the large corner desk (note the desk corner may be angular or rounded) of the high sleeper are shelves, partly hidden by the ladder is a large bookcase, so making this a complete teenager/ children’s bedroom in high sleeper cabin bed.
- This cabin bunk bed was especially designed for older children and is not recommended for children under 6 years of age.
- Loft bed style high sleeper cabin beds need to be made to a different standard than normal low beds for obvious safety reasons, the design tests include stability and ladder safety as part of the criteria.
- The cabin bed is very robust when assembled.
- Mattress, Bedding and textiles ARE NOT included in the price.

Answer:My son is 11 and it’s fine for him. It can also comfortabley take my weight (6ft 2ins male - approx 14st)
tip: you will need at least a whole day to assemble itQuestion:My son has a very small room 206x180 to fit a bed. Am I going to be able to build this in this space?
Answer:I would say no, you need space not only to build but to get either side and behind the unit as you assemble it.Question:Is this a double bed ?
Answer:No, it’s a single bed.Question:Can you tell me the size from the matress to the the top of bed please? im looking to know how deep the guard bit is so to stop child falling out ?
Answer:I don't have the bed anymore but my son was 3 at the time and I was happy that he wouldn't fall out. Just be warned that it takes ages to put together, took me 4 hours :(Question:is thsi ply wood?
Answer:It is melamine plywood. Essentially, melamine is a type of laminate. It is VERY sturdy! -

This item of furniture is a great space saver, a combination of bed, wardrobe,desk, bookcase and three drawers. However be prepared to spend most of the day building. I have experience with DIY furniture and usually enjoy the challenge of construction, but this big item was an all day affair, with two adults working hard to finish it before nightfall. The instructions are detailed and complex. You have to focus on each step otherwise you have to backtrack to ensure everything fits as it should. The only issue I had was the three drawer fronts, they would not fit properly. It only took a few minutes to fix with a sharp craft knife to reduce the size of the doules. It does look great, a solid piece of furniture that will last for years to come. Would recommend.

Absolutely fabulous, what more can be said! Spent a sensible couple of hours setting out all the separate components, really worth doing. When looking at the drawings (could be printed clearer!), do make sure you follow step-by-step (I did), carefully look at which hole too put the wooden joiners in and follow methodolgy. Trust me, easy if you don't rush, take a break between the odd few pages and follow setup-by-step. Daughter looooovvvveeess it

Beautiful bed, put it together on my own, took about 6 hours....instructions brilliant and easy to follow, I am rubbish at these things so was very proud of myself....could have done with extra hands not going to lie.....but love the bed...only one criticism maybe 5 cm lower amd it would be perfect....bit my son loves it...so 👍👍👍

Absolutely fantastic product! My daughter is absolutely over the moon with this bed and I can see it lasting for many years to come and the communication from the seller and the help from the delivery blokes was spot on. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic bed, loads of storage, it took a good full day for me and my son to put everything together as it was ta first time of building such a large flat pack, you definitely need to sort out the fixings and refer to the pictures as well as the instructions when building. Once buit it is very heavy and manoeuvring was difficult. I would 100% recommend, the quality is great, the colour is great my daughter, who is 12, loves it and as you can see there is plenty of hanging space and storage in the wardrobe.
