Customer questions & answers
Question: Can this greenhouse stand up to Kansas winds
Answer: Absolutely. The aluminum channels are made to fit the 4mm double wall polycarbonate panels tightly. We do recommend sealing around the perimeter where the polycarbonate meets the frame with an outdoor silicone sealant/adhesive once assembled for increased durability and resistance to wind loads.Question: is there a tie down anchoring system made for this green house?
Answer: The aluminum foundation can be drilled and secured to a wood floor or concrete floor, alternatively, the included posts can anchor the greenhouse on compacted soil. Additional anchoring may be required depending on the installation location, installation surface, and prevailing weather.Question: The pictures look like there are legs on the corners so the base doesn't touch the ground. Is there a gap between the frame and the ground?
Answer: Hello, Yes there is a gap between the frame and the ground. The greenhouse can be modified to sit on the ground.Question: Can anyone tell me how dark the color green is? Does it come in any other color
Answer: The aluminum frame is a dark green, a little darker than a green bell pepper. It is the only color frame we currently offer.Question: does one have to dismantle for winter?
Answer: Hello, This greenhouse is intended for all seasons. Many of our customers used the greenhouse during the winter to protect their plants. The greenhouse will trap heat from the day, however you might need a supplemental heat source for below freezing temperatures. If there's moisture in the air inside the greenhouse, it can condense and freeze so ventilate during the day as needed. Definitely do not use an open flame heat source. -

Very pleased with purchase. Built with my father and not the first green house we have built generally fairly diy proficient but it took the best part of a day to build from start to finish. Would recommend taking extra time and siliconing around the panels.

Ca****aGreat value greenhouse. Was quite tricky to build, took about a day to do, not a few hours as instructions said. That said though it was good instructions and well labelled parts. Would definitely recommend.

L***yWas worried about purchasing this with all the negative reviews. Take all the negative reviews with a pinch of salt. Things like the windows popping out in high winds, maybe they should use the self taping screws provided to hold the windows in that way high winds won’t pop them out, you also get loads of spare bolts and nuts. Just make sure you build sections slightly loose so you can adjust frame correctly then tighten.
