DESIGN & CONSTRUCTION: This umbrella opens and closes with an auto-crank and has wheels for easy movement. The heavy-duty polyester canopy is made to stand up for seasons against water and UV rays. The reinforced pole is powder-coated aluminum for enhanced rust resistance.
STABILITY BASE: In order to safely secure your umbrella, the base must be filled with 265 lbs of sand and water.
EASY ASSEMBLY: Package includes all necessary tools and hardware along with enclosed instruction manual.

Question: Can you use pea gravel instead of sand to weigh the base down? Is there a maximum weight that the base can hold and still easily be moved?
Answer: Yes, you could use pea gravel. The manufacturer recommends putting 240 lbs. of water/grave/sand in the base. How much can you lift? I put in 250 lbs. of sand, and I can pivot the base around as needed.Question: Does the umbrella rotate?
Answer: No, only if you move the base then you can you change the angle.Question: Can the metal stand be used with weights instead of the filled base which is not moveable on a wood plank deck?
Answer: The wheels are wide enough to roll on a wooden deck. The aluminum frame is made to fit the base and would not be large enough to support the umbrella in heavy winds using other weights. One of the reasons I purchased this umbrella and stand is I feel this is one of the best looking stands and it is extremely stable. I am very happy with this umbrella and stand. -

Love the curve on the bar! Can easily extend out then open. Free swing to the umbrella in a slight breeze looks beautiful! Its huge! Im short so need to stand on base to tighten knob once extended, but base is super sturdy! We only filled half way with sand and I still cant move it though, but safety is paramount! I really dont think you should be able to easily move it.

We purchased the 11 foot version. The only challenge of putting it together was getting the base bracket to set in enough to get the bolt started. With a little bit of body lean, got them started and pulled together. The only part where I required a second person was when the step requires setting the pole on the base. My wife helped and it went on easily. We also purchased a cover (12-14 ft size) which went on easily.

Great product, but one bolt/screw was missing. Good thing, I have a little stash of parts, bolts, Etc. Please check everything before you sending this product to your costumers.

We bought the 11’ champagne umbrella 13 months ago for our patio. We’ve opened and closed it numerous times with no visible wear. The umbrella still looks good, with only some slight fading. It swings around a fair amount in wind gusts, but we’ve never been concerned it would be damaged by that. We’re seriously considering buying another to shade one edge of our above ground pool.

This is just an amazing umbrella which completely covers our gas fire pit. It was super easy to assemble with just my wife and I and we love how sturdy it is. The design is awesome as there’s no annoying pole in the middle. It feels like we’re on vacation every time we eat, talk, play games or roast marshmallows under it.
