Question: is the pole that goes to the bottom round? I dont want the base but want to set my own pole in concrete then put the pole from the umbrella in it.. wi
Answer: The umbrella has an the ability to mount onto concrete. The same way you mount it into the base, you will mount it onto the concrete. This section is about 12 inches high and the pole slides over it. I had to buy the base because I was putting mine partially on concrete and partially on dirt.Question: Is there an option for a metal base rather than the black plastic one?
Answer: I don’t think so and the plastic one is fine. You fill it with water and it is very stable.Question: What are the measurements of the pole? From the floor to the bottom of the umbrella? And from the base to the top of the umbrella?
Answer: The base slides inside the umbrella. For a 10'×13' cantelivered umbrella, with umbrella open, the post is 108 1/2". With the umbrella closed approx 112"Question: Must it be fully open? Should the fabrics be fully extended, the fabric seems wavering if not fully open.
Answer: Fully open gives the best coverage and the material is taught. -

This is a beautiful, large, and sturdy umbrella. It’s very easy to assemble ( just make sure you get up in the umbrella to really remove all the internal packaging). We are so pleased with our purchase. The base (sold separately) once filled, is VERY heavy so place and fill carefully!

We purchased the 10x13 in Turquoise. Was easy to assemble with my hubs & me alone. This umbrella is sturdy with easy open & close. It also has a crank/handle that allows you to twist/turn the umbrella 360 if needed to. Opens & closes easy with a sturdiness unlike any other umbrella we’ve ever had. Now to search for a sturdy cover for the winter months. Picture is from a boat poker run raising money for local charities. It was used for a registration area at our dock providing needed shade throughout the day!!

Love this 12' x 12' cantilever umbrella. As you can see from the pic it throws a lot of shade. The swivel feature is nice a you can throw the shade around when the sun rays change direction. It is very heavy and takes a couple of strapping individuals to hoist the umbrella stanchion up onto the base post. But once it is there it isn't going anywhere.

Beautiful Umbrella! It gives excellent sun coverage! But after only less than a month The locking system WILL NOT LOCK AND WE ARE NOW BUNGEE-CORDING OUR UMBRELLA SO IT WILL STAY IN PLACE! This was not a cheap purchase and are very disappointed! And we WOULD NOT recommend this product!
