Question: Do you have to use the slats? Can I put my adjustable base inside the frame instead?
Answer: Yes you can put your adjustable base. We just did and work really good, the only thing it take out the stops bar that the bed have for the mattress but work really good.Question: Do I need a box spring and mattress for this bed ?
Answer: No box spring needed just mattress.. Unless you want extra high height -

This bed is not only beautiful and adds very valuable storage space on all sides of the bed but it is beautiful and able to comfortably hold 2 >200lb tall individuals and all various activities without so much of a shake. Its been months and the bed has been more than stable. I really enjoy it.

I absolutely love this bed! I slept so well last night. It’s huge and has lots of storage space. It was pretty easy to put together! The overall look and quality is amazing. As well, delivery was amazing it came a day early and the deliver guy was great. So if you’re debating... BUY THIS BED! You won’t regret it 💕

I love this bed I feel like royalty. The bed is massive it will take over your bedroom. Do the added storage space on the sides of the bed are a plus. I got this bed in white. The velvet is amazing and beautiful. I feel like I’m a five star hotel every night. It took about 2 and a half hours to put together with 2 people.

The bed is Beautiful, a slight pain putting together, took me and my girlfriend about 2 hours. Thank Goodness The delivery people put it in my room of choice. 1 of the 3 boxes is very heavy and one of them is very large(headboard).
